+By default the mention format is '@Display Name', but other options are available, such as '@username' and both '@Display Name (username)'. Mentions may also contain an ampersand, for example '@!Display Name'. This indicates a Direct or private message to 'Display Name' and post addressing/privacy are altered accordingly.
