3988948516 first cut at rating widget. The flaw is that it is limited because it requires local_channel() (formerly local_user()). f113984d69 essentials for creating a "block-style" list-mode page such as one might have for a pinterest-style layout. Just load view/theme/redbasic/css/blockmode.css after redbasic PCSS - you're done. We may need some other indicator besides the number of comments to indicate "click here to see the rest of the article", but we're a bit short on space so maybe a view icon will work. 2014-12-16 23:40:52 -08:00

4e9bd8b8f0 This is a fix to not interfere the ongoing adding of .generic-content-wrapper with the ongoing styling of redbasic theme. 
adding of .generic-content-wrapper is needed and useful for derivative themes but it should not contain any styling information for redbasic theme. therefor i added .generic-content-wrapper-styled as a quickfix for spots where redbasic is not finished yet.
Sidenote: please avoid opening a div in one *.tpl and close it in another or (even worse) open a div in a *.tpl and close it in an already templatified mod/*.php. This will really make the code and templates very, very confusing.

2d210db1b8 ability to create/edit/delete custom profile field definitions - read the source. Currently the created entries aren't added to the allowed fields arrays, but this can be done by hand until that bit is made available. 994b6b5258 As talked about earlier: set body font size to 0.8rem and post/comment font size to 1.0rem. This respects the user's browser font settings. Please comment if this changes the font sizes to much. There are some other font sizes that need to be changed to a scalable size (like btn-xs), but they don't have a priority. First see if this works. - Also made it possible for users to zoom on smart devices. - Small update to Redable. 075fc67277 Improved photo view page. Added a delete button, stylized other button and rearangend divs a but. I even made a javascript function (copied is the right word). I changed the application (non-posts) font size (temporary) to 14px, same as button (btn) font size. 0bf68af0a7 make comment_indent an option and removeitem_opacity as it is not working properly at the current state - we have got item background opacity now (allthough not yet for custom colors because the colorpicker does not work with rgba colors). c97222c2fc improve the appearance of the ACL selector in a hackish way on the short term - 
it really needs to be re-worked for bootstrap but in any event the words "show" and "don't show" make a mess of it. We should probably just use icons (with a bit of padding) that people can select with a touchscreen and reformat the box accordingly.

Added an option to settings of redbasic theme. You are now able to
activate centering the left aside and the conversion regions in the
middle of the screen. This respects configuration of conversion region
width and works without special actions for mobile devices.

TODO: Find a way to handle conversion width given in percent.

97739920eb create a new "subdued" CSS class for things that shouldn't be in your face unless you want them and intentionally hover over them. Typically this would be accomplished via an opacity or colour change, but themes are free to use other methods. Also changed the channel_tabs "chatroom" link to use the subdued class if no rooms have been created rather than a count of chatrooms. Themse should probably create a .subdued and .subdued:hover definition because we'll probably take most of the stuff which is now hardwired to use opacity by id and change it to use the class definition instead. 2014-02-08 00:48:19 -08:00

eb3a563410 redbasic - set pixel dimensions of conversation top author photo and reply author photos. Hint: if you set these to something like 64px and 32px respectively and reduce the main font-size to say 0.9em, young people won't complain as much about the "ugly dated UI". You see they're used to companies squeezing every pixel out of the screen (more room for advertising) and they don't yet have bad eyes so they can still read teeny stuff. Big fonts and pictures are for old folks that need glasses and make young people complain about the "dated" interface. It's a sure sign that you're going to find old folks here and not many young adults or teens. What's missing at the moment is that if you shrink these photos, the "item-photo-menu" arrow is no longer in the bottom corner of the picture, but might be outside the photo. Will have to see if there's a way to dynamically position this based on the size. 2013-11-15 01:11:03 -08:00

592c24e162 e2ee in comments and a bit of cleanup so not every theme has to define how to insert bbcode, only if they're doing something special (e.g. this is how to implement a javascript plugin :-)), and I got rid of the predefined http:// in the bbcode for urls. cdcc68a168 having a real problem with $section_width - which is preventing fluid layouts. 
I don't see an easy way a fixed width can work - either as percentage or a pixel width.
I think the right way to do this is probably to set a right-margin - which will let the
width float within the constraints of the viewport but should achieve the same result.

6162de142c allow private mail sender to set an expiration on their messages. Once expired the message is destroyed at both ends (subject to the granularity of the polling interval) and is gone. 1354702d69 remove the disabled flag on individual permissions and improve the text to show that settings may be inherited. The reason for this change is that we want the individual settings to be stored regardless of the inherited settings, because if somebody changes the higher precedence privacy settings it could leave all their existing contacts with no permissions and this could be a support nightmare. 
So this way if somebody starts off with "anybody on the network can send me their stream and posts" and later changes it to "only specific connections can send me their stream and posts", the individual setting will already be set for all their connections. The previous behaviour is that this setting would have been disabled so none of their existing connections will have this specific permission. Old-timers who were here and made lots of connections before this commit - will have to edit all their connections if they change their privacy settings from lesser restrictive to be more restrictive.

a92e1c617b Add install instructions for cloning WebDAV component (which I think is best if we make optional). There may be webserver dependencies so let's just call this a plugin of sorts, but different than normal plugins because if it's installed it will be tightly integrated with everything we do. Eventually we may provide a static repository or select a specific sabre-dav version so that we're immune from changes upstream which break stuff we're doing; but for now we'll use the fruux main repository and install using the trunk. 2013-10-10 16:09:26 -07:00
